YESTERDAY’S CROSSROADS

Yesterday’s Crossroads is a celebration of 2 of the most important songwriters of all time. Eric Clapton is the only 3 time inductee into the Rock n Roll hall of fame… as a solo artist, with Cream & with The Yardbirds. He is also the only guitarist to ever play on the solo albums of all 4 Beatles members as well as a Beatles song (While my guitar gently weeps).

Paul McCartney is half of the most influential song writing duo of all time, responsible for redefining pop music and pop culture in the 60s with The Beatles. His song “Yesterday” is the most covered song of all time, with more than 2200 recorded versions. We bring together the songs that defined each artist as a performer and song writer, from Clapton’s classics such as “Sunshine Of Your Love”, “Layla”, “Tears In Heaven” to McCartney’s work with The Beatles & Wings such as “Hey Jude”, “Let It Be”, “Band On The Run” and even his collaboration with Michael Jackson “The Girl Is Mine” which appeared on ‘Thriller’, the highest selling album of all time!

The band is led by Jay Parrino who was a finalist of Australia’s Got Talent in 2009. Jay’s version of “Land Down Under” by Men at Work has become the #1 most viewed cover of this iconic Aussie anthem, generating over 5 million hits on You Tube. His cover of “Run to Paradise” by the Choirboys also achieved the same accolade, becoming the most viewed cover of this tune and earning him the opportunity to sing on stage with the Choirboys as part of their ACDC tribute show. Jay was also invited to perform a special St Pats day tribute on channel 7s “The Morning Show” doing a unique version of U2’s “With or Without You” and he also appeared on The Voice in 2016.

The band features Special guest bassist Ian Hulme who is a member of the iconic Aussie rock band The Choirboys. Guest guitarist Randall Waller who toured the world with Shania Twain on the largest female music tour of all time.
