ACE and MO award winner (2018, 2019) Alex has been
performing since the age of 6 and is trained in both Classical and Contemporary techniques, studying Opera voice under renowned teachers Mrs Robyn Wells (Sydney Conservatorium of Music) and Dr. Elizabeth Willis (UNSW). Fluent in Spanish, Italian and French, Alex is able to perform a variety of songs from different cultures and eras, catering to a large audience.

In 2019 she was fortunate to have been invited to walk the Red Carpet at the ARIA Awards as an upcoming, unsigned artist. She is excited to explore a new stage of creative and performance opportunities.

A multi-talented and multi-faceted vocalist, Alex has a one of a kind voice that is able to effortlessly switch through many genres including Opera, Musical Theatre, Pop and Rock. A versatile and unique female vocalist, Alex’s concert cabaret, one woman Solo concert, showcases a variety of styles and genres including Opera, Musical Theatre and classic hits. She was the guest soprano for the Mark Vincent Tour (2017) and has toured throughout Queensland and NSW.

Alex was previously the head-liner act for the Captain Cook Viva Cruise Latin Nights in 2010 and principle performer for quartet Urban Opera (2012-2016). She was the Musical Director for the vocal group ARIA (2013-2016) and THE NEXUS ALLIANCE. Alex has performed in many festivals, as well as corporate and private events. Alex is also the lead singer of HYJINX and has performed with a variety of bands, duos, dance groups and more over the span of her career.

Roles performed include “Carlotta” in an independent production of “Phantom of the Opera” “Babette” Beauty and the Beast. Alex has worked consistently alongside Bradley Gilchrist in various Opera Projects Productions including, La Traviatta, Madame Butterfly and Suor Angelica. Alex is set to expand her horizons this year and explore a variety of musical genres and facets of the industry.
